Given the terrible accident at SFO on Saturday, everyone at the airport on Tuesday was very understanding (of course) of the 2+ hour delays that we all experienced airport wide. The one thing I didn't think of was with my new route (due to the delays) my suitcase would not make it to my final destination in a timely manner, in fact they lost it all together for a while. Which is just funny because the first thing my husband said when I bought this suitcase is "they will never lose that!"
So lesson learned! Always travel with a toothbrush, deodorant and at least one extra outfit on hand! It seems my luggage decided to experience the nightlife in Southern California before making its way out to the Nashville Airport ;) . All is well now, a kind man delivered it so me the next day.
When you wake up to a view like this I think you can deal with just about anything thrown your way!

ReplyDeleteI had a similar experience with my (less bright but still) pink suitcase going missing on monday or tuesday as I was bounced around through too many airports due to a series of changed and delayed flights.
ReplyDelete(I'm not exactly sure when it went missing, but we were meant to arrive on monday afternoon, hours earlier than my late morning tuesday arrival. My bag showed up in the middle of the night on tuesday.)
That is one way to add excitement to your life... Today I am playing catch up on the Inked class and working on a DIY project. Being creative always makes the days go by so quickly, can't believe summer is almost over.
