Hiya friends!!! I am super excited to introduce a new feature on my blog today! I find so much inspiration from my digital peers/friends and I wanted to share a little of that with you. Enter: Pixels and Paper! With Project Life and the Cameo merging the two worlds more than ever, I thought it was the perfect chance! Each time we feature a Pixels and Paper post, I will be lifting a layout from one of my talented digital friends. They in turn will be lifting one of my paper designs into a digital layout. Fun, right?!
Today I want to introduce to you my friend Valorie Brown. She has an amazing way of composing her page in a way that is so interesting to me! I ADORE all her work!
She lifted this layout of mine called "Your World". I LOVE LOVE LOVE her take on it!
Isn't that amazing?! I LOVE the colors, her button snowman and all the texture she added!
I lifted her layout called "Hello"
Here is where I landed:
There is something about lifting a digital design that adds a whole new element to your page. Digital scrappers see the page in a whole different way and it translates to a scale you don't often see in paper scrapbooking.
What do you think, do you want to play along?!!? I would love for you to! If you are a paper scrapbooker, one of my favorite places for inspiration is The Lilypad. If you are a digital scrapbooker one of my favorite places for inspiration is Studio Calico . If you do decide to play along please link in this post by next Monday, Feb 11th. I will pick one lucky winner to receive some happy scrappy mail!
Have fun! Thanks for stopping by!!
I love a good mix of paper and digi, too!!

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome new feature. I am big fan of both you (your galleries at Studio Calico are fast becoming my very favorite--I especially *love* your hybrid projects...they are amazing!) and Valorie Brown (and all the designers at The Lilypad). Perhaps this will inspire me to get some scrapping done (mostly a cardmaker). Thank you for all the inspiration and sharing your beautiful art!
